Camp opens Sunday evening at 4 p.m. for registration, Housing assignments,and final payment.
No pets are allowed.

Main Lodge

Camp Brethren Heights consists of a main lodge (on the “heights”) which includes the office, a large meeting room for classes and square dances in the evening, and two dormitories upstairs. Downstairs are the kitchen and dining hall and two rooms for music classes.

Dormitories

Each dorm room features bunk beds to accommodate eighteen campers and a bathroom with toilets and showers. Campers must bring their own bedding and pillow.

Request for dorms may be subject to change based on final registration numbers.

Rustic Cabins

The rustic cabins are below the heights, close to the lake. Each cluster of three cabins includes a toilet and shower building. Each cabin sleeps ten in bunk beds. Campers must bring their own bedding and pillow.

Cabin assignments are given during the Sunday evening Welcome/Orientation Meeting.

Tents & RVs

Attendees are welcome to bring tents or campers/RVs. RVs will have access to electric outlets.


Outdoor Dining

Meals at Earful of Fiddle are served buffet style and enjoyed outside under a large canopy. The week’s menu features a variety of healthy options suitable for all palates. Please enter dietary restrictions on your registration form and we will work to accommodate you at camp!

Please be mindful of the waste you generate at camp and take your recyclables home and remove your drink containers from all public spaces each night.

We will not be able to store your items in the kitchen refrigerators. Please bring a cooler for your items that require refrigeration.

Earful participants are not allowed in the kitchen.

What to bring

You will spend the week in a wooded area on a small lake surrounded by the beauty that Michigan has to offer. In addition to taking classes and building friendships, you will be able to hike, canoe, kayak, swim, play beach volleyball and more.

With all that in mind, bring your instrument, dance shoes, notebook, bug spray, sunscreen, swim suit, towel(s), flip flops, lantern, power strips if you are staying in the cabins, toiletries, and washcloth, water bottle, flashlight, recording device, extra strings, rain gear, and warm clothes for the evenings.

If you are staying in the cabins, you may also want to bring a box fan.
